第十屆中國國際海報雙年展將于2021年11月在中國杭州舉辦，雙年展旨在呈現(xiàn)全球海報設(shè)計的多元發(fā)展與創(chuàng)新探索，以此推動國際平面設(shè)計領(lǐng)域間的文化交流與互鑒。本屆雙年展由中國美術(shù)學(xué)院和浙江美術(shù)家協(xié)會主辦，中國美術(shù)學(xué)院設(shè)計藝術(shù)學(xué)院、浙江省美術(shù)家協(xié)會平面設(shè)計藝術(shù)委員會、中國國際設(shè)計博物館共同承辦。屆時在世界范圍內(nèi)，邀請國際專業(yè)領(lǐng)域最具影響力的人士組成評審團，并嚴(yán)格按照國際慣例，在所有符合參賽規(guī)則作品中評選出各類獎項，評審結(jié)果完全由評審團作出最終判斷。

2021 The 10th China International Poster Biennial

China International Poster Biennial was first started in 2003 in Hangzhou, China, the city known for the West Lake. It is a poster design competition with the highest standard in China and one of the most popular poster competitions and exhibitions in the international graphic design field. Up to now, we have received more than tens of thousands of posters from more than 40 countries and regions.

Posters are a medium that transcends language by reflecting the current ideas, aesthetics and trends of thought, and by taking down the reflections of the designers from different regions on social, cultural and environmental phenomena. The all-encompassing works also record the development of an era and create a visual history of the times. As time changes so fast, we are expecting more diverse, open and innovative posters.

The 10th China International Poster Biennial will be held in Hangzhou in November 2021, whose purpose is to present the diversified development and innovative exploration of global poster design, so as to promote cultural exchanges and mutual learning in the international graphic design field. This biennale is sponsored by China Academy of Art and Zhejiang Artists Association, and co-organized by the School of Design of China Academy of Art, the Graphic Design Committee of Zhejiang Artists Association, and  China Design Museum. By the time, a jury composed of the most influential graphic designers worldwide will judge strictly in accordance with the international practices. All awards will be selected according to the rules of the competition and all the final decisions will be made by the jury.

Submission ending date：

Upload your work online before 24:00 Beijing Time, September 15, 2021 

Have your print copy delivered before October 20, 2021, Beijing Time

Gold awards (one for each type of work)

Silver awards (two for each type of work)

Bronze awards (three for each type of work)

The judge’s awards (Each judge can elect one)

a. All submitted posters for the 2021 Biennial have to be originals made after 2019.

b. Posters can be printed in ways of offset, silk-screen, or digital printing. But please NOTICE that NO ink-jet or hand drawing work is accepted. As to the uploaded e-copies, animations are accepted. 

c. Size of posters: no smaller than 36.4cm x 51.5cm (14.3 inches x 20.3 inches) and no larger than 120.0cm x 180.0cm (70.9 inches x 47.3 inches)

d. There is no upper limit on the number of works that a single participant can submit. (Serial works are considered as one entry)

e. Once selected into the second loop of competition, the print copy has to be sent to the organizing committee. (The shortlist will be posted on the website and notified by email)

f.To avoid damages in shipping, safe packaging is recommended. The organizing committee shall not be liable for any damages or missing packages of the entries caused by mailing.

g.All posters have to be sent as prints without any commercial value. Please do not include the price of your submission on the postal declaration or invoice. The organizing committee will not accept any entries that declare a commercial value in its postage tax bill or mailing invoice.

All participants have to log onto the official website of China International Poster Biennial @ http://www.cipb.org, register online. Following are the procedures:

a. Log onto http://www.cipb.org, click the “upload” icon, set up an account to get into the registration system.

b. Fill out the information as indicated and upload/submit your work.

c.After your entry is shortlisted, you may download the back signature tag and fill in the information in the menu of “my settings”.

d. If you have multiple works to upload, you may repeat steps b and c.

* You may submit multiple works with one account. Please do not register repeatedly.

Requirements for submission：

1. Requirements for your E-copy: We accept JPG, MP4, and GIF formats only. The picture size requires to be A4 and 300dpi in pixels. The color mode is RGB. The JPG, MP4, or GIF file is no more than 20M. The pictures and videos that are successfully uploaded will be displayed below.

2. Requirements for prints: The name tag must be printed and pasted on the lower right corner on the back (the tag can be duplicated). Once your work is selected for the exhibition, the information you write on the entry form will be included in the “2021 China International Poster Biennial Collection”.

3. Two copies of each entry are required. Mounting is not a must.

Once any entry is found plagiarism in ideas or concepts, or is entangled with copyright or intellectual property issues, it is the author(s) who is/are liable for the consequences. The organizing committee of the China International Poster Biennial will disqualify the author.

For all the exhibited entries, the organizing committee has the right to exhibit, publish, publicize, collect and display all entries on TV, Internet, print or broadcasting media. 

If there is any doubt about the rules, the organizing committee reserves the right to give the final interpretations.

For anything that has not been mentioned here, the organizing committee reserves the right to make further interpretations to the more detailed rules.
